The World Association of Pipeline and Offshore Contractors was established in 1966, headquartered in Switzerland. It is a non-governmental international organization, formerly a regional organization established by several pipeline companies in the United States. With the continuous expansion of its influence, it has gradually developed into a global international organization. Major pipeline contractors around the world, as well as related equipment manufacturing enterprises and academic organizations, are all members or collaborative members of them. As of now, the organization has a total of 248 members from all over the world (including members, cooperative members, and academic members). Taigong Machinery Company joined the organization in January 2007 and is the only member of an equipment manufacturing enterprise in China.
The IPLOCA Annual Conference is held annually around the world, aiming to provide a grand stage for pipeline contractors, equipment manufacturers, and industry scholars from all over the world to fully exchange ideas, achieve technology and information sharing, seek trade opportunities, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the global pipeline industry. This year's annual conference was attended by members from 40 countries and regions around the world, with over 600 attendees. It is a grand event in the global pipeline industry. According to the association's agenda, some experts and scholars gave speeches on the pipeline project; At the same time, the association elected a new chairman and members of the board of directors. It is worth mentioning that the leaders from the China Pipeline Bureau have been elected as directors for Asia and the Far East, increasing the voice of members in the Asian region.
At the annual meeting, the company had exchanges and talks with more than a dozen presidents and executive directors of companies in India, Türkiye, Russia, the Middle East, Brazil, Greece and other countries and regions. Old customers said they would continue to support the company and maintain cooperation with the company as always; After learning about the company's situation, the new members expressed great interest in its products and hope to further cooperate in the future.
